Description
This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and organizational commitment simultaneously on the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, State University of Gorontalo, partially or simultaneously. The approach in this research is quantitative. The research method isex post factoand correlational research design.The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results showed that (1) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, State University of Gorontalo, with a coefficient of determination of 0.255 which means that it is 25.50% at an alpha of 0.05. (2) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, State University of Gorontalo, with a coefficient of determination of 0.375 which means that it is 37.50% at an alpha of 0.05. (3) The work environment and organizational commitment together have a significant effect on the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, State University of Gorontalo with a coefficient of determination of 63.00% at an alpha of 0.05. While the remaining 37.00% can be explained by other variables, namely employee competence, leadership supervision, education and training, employee career management and perceptions of recipients of academic services.
