Psychiatric disorders in postpartum women include anxiety, depression, and psychosis. Postpartum depression is a significant medical and social problem that affects the health of many mothers, burdens the health care system and causes marital conflict. This article presents a review of the literature on issues related to the state of postpartum depression.en-US
