dc.descriptionThis study titled teachers’ involvement in co-professional activities and its effect on the curriculum implementation process is focused on the effect of other economic activities that teachers participate in on the curriculum implementation process. The teacher by virtue of his profession is the pivot in the curriculum implementation process. The absence or inadequate job motivation and satisfaction, family pressure, little or no salary increment, appointments that enables participation in decision-making are some factors identified that maybe responsible for teachers’ participation in co-curricular activities. The research design was causal comparative. A four point Likert scale questionnaire was used in collecting data using a random sampling technique to a population of 150 secondary school teachers. Findings revealed that, teachers’ involvement in co-professional activities has a negative impact on the curriculum implementation process. It was recommended that co-professional activities should not be carried out during working hours in other to have effective teaching and learning process.en-US
