dc.descriptionThis research investigates the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) training for acquisition of knowledge and skills on AI tools and platformsfor educators in fostering effective edupreneurship, where educators take on entrepreneurial roles to drive innovation and transformation within the education sector. Through a comprehensive examination of AI technologies, and entrepreneurial strategies, this study aims to identify the essential AI tools and platforms for educators. Two research questions were raised to address key issues in the study. The study employed a descriptive survey design, distributing questionnaires through both online platforms and physical methods to engage educators. Expert consultations ensured the questionnaire's validity. Out of 500 distributed questionnaires, 329 were retrieved and analysed using statistical techniques including frequency counts and percentages. This approach aimed to provide practical insights for education entrepreneurship stakeholders. Findings revealed familiarity and preferences of ten (10) innovative AI tools and three (3) major platforms needed for all educators to effectively sustain innovative teaching and research. Based on the research findings, this paper offers actionable recommendations for stakeholders, educational institutions and organizations in education, science education and edupreneursto prioritize the implementation of comprehensive AI training programs tailored to educators’ professional development needs.en-US
