This article describes the methods for studying the psychological characteristics of sergeants serving in the system of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A special place is occupied by the fact that military service is fundamentally different from other work activities, this service process is associated with increased risk and stressful situations. For this reason, the study of the psychological characteristics of sergeants undergoing military service under a contract makes it possible to find the right way out of non-standard situations that arise when they perform combat missions. Service activities of servicemen directly depend on their moral and psychological state. The program for studying the psychological characteristics of a serviceman presented in the article serves to more broadly determine the psychological characteristics of each serviceman in a military team.en-US
