dc.descriptionThe article highlights the role of hepatoprotective therapy in the complex therapy of acute intestinal obstruction in patients with diffuse liver diseases. The data of 106 comorbid patients with mechanical acute intestinal obstruction suffering from various diffuse liver diseases, who developed enteral insufficiency syndrome of varying severity, were studied. Hepatoprotective therapy was included in the complex treatment. The results of the study proved the effectiveness of hepatoprotective therapy from the standpoint of both prevention and regression of the development of hepatic dysfunction and enteral insufficiency syndrome.en-US
