dc.descriptionThe paper reviewed the impact of insecurity on the administration of post-basic education and career development in the south east geo-political zone of Nigeria. Content analysis method was used in the paper presentation. Secondary and primary data were sorted from both print and online publications. The paper identified the following as the likely impact of insecurity on the administration of post-basic education and career development in south east geo-political zone of Nigeria: disruption of school administration, teaching programme, academic calendar, internal exams, external exams, extra-curricular activities, brain-drain, and reduction in funding of education. The paper recommended that the government should employ political solution in ending the various agitations in the region that is fueling insecurity.en-US
