This article discusses the causes and mechanisms of development of pregestational and GSD, classification, comparison of diagnostic criteria and treatment tactics in different countries. The features of metabolism in pregnant women, risks for pregnant women with diabetes, as well as preconception care of patients are discussed.en-US
