Abstract
Description
In this article, the lexical side of professional communication of future economic specialists in English is considered and analyzed. In modern conditions of the system of higher professional education, the concept of "teaching a foreign language" is becoming in demand and relevant, especially in the economic sphere. In addition, teaching a foreign language serves as an additional means of adaptation in the labor market. In this regard, the pragmatic aspects of learning a foreign language are of particular importance, namely, not only the possession of a foreign language, but also the knowledge of the culture of native speakers of the language being studied.
However, in our opinion, it is necessary to change the attitude of modern students to the study of a foreign language in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies, taking into account new economic, social and political conditions, global educational and social processes.
