dc.descriptionThis study investigates how teachers’ tone of voice is important in the classroom. It provides some effective ways of engaging pupils or students with warm sound. The article shows voice disorders in teachers and their negative effects for listeners. “Vocal projection” and its elements, like pitch, speed of speaking, pause are introduced. The role of Motivational language is clarified with examples. There is information about meaning of “social prosody” and its usage.en-US
