The clamour for effective collaboration between men and women and social development has occupied a center stage in virtually all national and international conferences in the 21st Century. Women can hardly contribute meaningfully to social development amidst indefatigable barriers erected by cultural values. This paper therefore focused on the role of education in women’s socio-political development particularly in Nigeria.
