Description
The choice of treatment method for basal cell skin cancer depends on the histological type, clinical form, location of the tumor, and age of the patient. Of great interest is a new, highly effective direction in the treatment of basal cell carcinoma – photodynamic therapy. The authors treated 30 patients with basal cell skin cancer with various clinical forms and histological types using photodynamic therapy with intraocular administration of a photosensitizer.
