Abstract
Description
This research caused by the low critical thinking ability of students in mathematics. This study aims to determine the effect of the Tallking stick type of cooperative learning model on students' critical thinking skills mathematics. This research was conducted to 20 students in grade 4. Research method used quantitative with quasi-experiments. Researchers used pretest and posttest to determine the development and impact of cooperative learning models. Data collection technique in this study used a hypothesis test to determine the effect of Tallking Stick type cooperative learning model in ability to think critically in mathematics. This is evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. With this, there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills before and after treatment. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Tallking Stick type of cooperative learning model has an effect on students' critical thinking skills in mathematics.
