Description
The aim of the research is to find out to what extent oil and gas management policies comply with applicable regulations. The research location is Jambe Bay, Kedungbanteng Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. Interviews, observations, and written notes are used as data collection methods in qualitative research. As well as primary and secondary data used as data sources. research shows PT. Minarak Brantas Gas in managing the gas mine in Kedungbanteng Village ignored Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning oil and gas and Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2009 concerning Spatial Planning of Sidoarjo Regency in 2009-2029. the result is that miners have not been effective in providing employment, have not been effective in developing village areas. There is community resistance which has an impact because the manager benefits. and has an impact on land subsidence causing flooding in the settlements and rice fields of the Village residents
