Abstract
Description
The aims of this study was to determine the effect of the supervisory and managerial competence of the principal on the performance of elementary school teachers. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was done through a questionnaire with a sample of 52 people. Hypothesis testing using product moment correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable at the 95% confidence level (a = 0.05). The results showed that: (1) the supervisory competence of the principal has a positive influence on teacher performance by 78.0% (2) the competence of the principal has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 79.6%.
