Abstract
Description
The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process of speaking skills for Arabic education University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo students in semester III. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Utilized data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data redaction, aged data, and conclusion analysis techniques are used in this study. The results of this study indicate that: preparation before learning speaking skills, namely preparing the Semester Learning Plan, preparing learning materials. Implementation of learning using reading method. Learning evaluation includes formative evaluation and summative evaluation. Supporting factors are assisted, often practice, addition of mufrodat. The inhibiting factors are not having a handbook, the lack of interaction from lecturers to students or vice versa, the lack of mufrodat. as well as solutions for learning students' speaking skills, namely practicing speaking, reading often, practicing by writing.
