Abstract
Description
The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the effectiveness of the KOTAKU program in reducing the area of slum settlements as well as the factors supporting and inhibiting the effectiveness of the KOTAKU program in reducing the area of slum settlements in Sruni . The results of the study stated that the KOTAKU Program was effective because it met the indicators of clarity of objectives to be achieved, clarity of strategy for achieving program objectives, solid policy analysis and formulation processes, careful planning, proper program preparation, availability of work facilities and infrastructure, effective implementation and efficient, educational supervision and control system. The KOTAKU program has supporting and inhibiting factors. The inhibiting factors are incorrect information or hoaxes circulating on social media about the KOTAKU Program, and the limited number of facilitators in assisting program implementation.
